How to Enroll

To have coverage, you must enroll within 31 days of your hire date or during Benefits Open Enrollment.

  1. Go to the Colleague Service Center (CSC) via iConnect or colleagueservicecenter.thermofisher.com.
  2. Click on MyBenefits.
  3. Go to the Colleague Service Center (CSC) via iConnect or thermofisher.com.
  4. Click the MyBenefits button on the right side of the page.
  5. Go to HRConnect.
  6. Click the MyBenefits tile toward the bottom of the home screen on HRConnect.
  7. Go to HRConnect.
  8. Click the MyBenefits tile toward the bottom of the home screen on HRConnect.
  9. You’ll be logged in automatically after registering on your first visit. To register:
    1. Create a new user ID, password and phone PIN.
    2. Choose and answer security questions.
    3. Choose whether MyBenefits should “remember me on this computer.” Answer “No” if on a public computer or one you will not use often to access the site.
    4. You will receive a letter at home confirming your registration.
  10. Follow the prompts to walk through the enrollment flow and use the decision support tool. Make sure you complete all elections.
  11. Continue until you reach the confirmation page. Your elections will not be saved until you click the Confirm button at the end of the enrollment flow.
  12. Print and save a copy for your records. You can also watch for a copy to be delivered via the mail or a secure email notice inviting you to review a copy on the MyBenefits secure portal.
  13. Submit required documentation for dependent verification, if applicable.

To log in from a personal computer or smart phone/tablet, go to benefits.thermofisher.com. If you prefer to enroll via phone, you can call 1-833-423-6387 and the MyBenefits team will walk you through the process.

If you don’t enroll:

  • You will not have medical, dental or vision coverage for 2023.
  • You will not be able to contribute to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) (where eligible).
  • You will not be able to participate in certain voluntary plans, such as legal coverage and supplemental health plans.
  • You will not be able to enroll or make changes until the next Open Enrollment period unless you experience a qualifying life event and report it to MyBenefits within 31 days. 

You must enroll on MyBenefits to have coverage.
