Family Support

Thermo Fisher offers a variety of benefits and programs to support you and your family. No action is required to enroll and you can participate at any time.

Adoption assistance

Get help with the expenses of adopting a child. Our program provides a lifetime maximum of $5,000 to assist eligible colleagues with qualified expenses associated with the adoption of a minor child. These include adoption fees, attorney fees, court costs and select travel expenses while away from home.

Back-up Child and Elder Care Support

Avoid the stress of last-minute dependent care changes with back-up child and elder care from Bright Horizons. Back-Up Care provides support when you experience a temporary breakdown in your normal child or elder care arrangements (e.g., school or childcare center is closed, caretaker is on vacation, family member is ill, etc.), and you need to get to work.

Specialists are available 24/7 to help you identify alternate care options either in-home or at a center-based site near you. You can enroll in this benefit directly on the program website.

Enhanced Family Support

Caring for dependents can be a challenge. Bright Horizons offers family concierge support with your caregiver search and placement as well as elder care planning. Receive tutoring assistance, priority enrollment at all Bright Horizons childcare centers and discounts at partner centers nationwide.

College Coach

College Coach through Bright Horizons can help your children with personalized guidance, online resources and more at all levels of their academic careers.
