Additional Financial Support

Thermo Fisher offers a variety of benefits, programs and policies to support your physical, financial and emotional and family wellbeing. No action is required to enroll and you can participate at any time. Unless otherwise noted, benefits are available to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and mainland U.S. colleagues. Adoption Assistance

Our program provides a lifetime maximum of $5,000 to assist eligible colleagues with qualified expenses associated with the adoption of a minor child. Eligible, IRS-defined expenses include adoption fees, attorney fees, court costs and select travel expenses while away from home.

Charitable Giving Match

We will help make your charitable giving go further. We match 100% of eligible contributions, up to $1,500.

Commuter Benefits

This program, administered by Smart-Choice, lets you set aside pre-tax dollars each month (up to the IRS monthly limit) to cover eligible public transportation and parking costs. Any contribution over the IRS limit will be an after-tax deduction.

Employee Discount Program

Enjoy access to a variety of discount programs with BenefitHub. Examples include savings on eligible Thermo Fisher products (including our iconic Nalgene reusable water bottles and containers), dining and groceries, education, retail, travel and more!

You can also take advantage of discounted group auto and homeowners’ insurance, pet insurance and more coverage options, all available through BenefitHub.

Expert Guidance When a Family Member Dies

Find support navigating the financial decisions and situations after the loss of a loved one with SurvivorSupport from Ayco. Access financial counseling and planning benefits to help you if your spouse/partner dies or your family if you die. Benefits include a 1:1 counseling session, tailored recommendations, 12 months of support following the counseling session and more.

Financial Wellbeing Program

Stretch your dollars further with no-fee everyday banking services, a mortgage offering and investment education from Bank of America.  Note: This benefit is not currently available for CRG colleagues.

Identity Theft Protection

Keep your identity, devices and personal information safe with comprehensive protection from Norton LifeLock. Protection includes anti-virus products, parental portal to monitor your child’s online activity, coverage for lawyers and other experts, reimbursement for stolen funds due to identity theft, dark web monitoring and personal expenses recouped because of identity theft.

Legal Plan

Get access to a network of attorneys for issues ranging from divorce and custody to property damage. Services are available without deductibles, copays or claim forms once you’re enrolled and using the MetLife Legal Plan network. Covered topics include estate planning, adoption, divorce (uncontested), custody orders and changes (uncontested), insurance claims, property damage, and more. You can also receive up to four hours of attorney services for non-covered matters and identity management education and support.

Scholarship Program

Eligible children of full-time, active colleagues can apply for an opportunity to earn a merit-based college scholarship.

Talent Referral Program

Earn a bonus when you refer someone who becomes a Thermo Fisher colleague and completes a set minimum number of days of continuous employment. Your referral bonus will vary depending on the position and level.

Tuition Reimbursement Program

Eligible colleagues may receive reimbursement for tuition, books and fees for undergraduate or graduate studies. Reimbursement maximums will apply.
