Roll Over Benefits with Enhanced Option
Up to $600 of unused annual plan maximum dollars in 2023 can be rolled over into 2024 if you had at least one exam/cleaning, and all paid claims (preventive, basic and major restorative) did not exceed $800, in the current (2023) year. In future years, the cumulative rollover max will be capped at $1,500. Rollover max dollars cannot be applied to orthodontia.

Coverage Highlights
Hawaii residents can choose between Delta Dental of Massachusetts and HMSA for dental coverage. The Delta Dental of Massachusetts plans are the same ones offered to our continental U.S. colleagues and require you to enroll if you want one of these plans. If you choose not to take action and enroll in HMSA medical coverage, you’ll receive HMSA dental at no additional cost and enrollment is automatic.
